      The grinding circuit optimization process            
                           
      The quality optimization consists in:              
      - The preparation                
      - The optimization                
      - The final report                  
                           
      The preparation:                  
      The optimization of a cement grinding plant always occurs after the modification of the
      circuit and/or the mill internals.              
      Then, the first thing to do is to check if these modifications have been carried out.  
      In most of the cases, a new ball charge gradation has been proposed and the ball mill  
      must be loaded with only 70% of this ball charge.          
      This will be also checked during the 1st visit of the mill.        
      Human resources and material required will also be defined.        
                           
      The optimization:                  
      The first step of the optimization will consists in an audit like detailed above.    
      New sampling campaigns are often necessary especially if we have to calculate the last
      part of the ball charge.                
      The last part of the optimization will mainly consist in finding the right settings of the installation:
      - Ventilation of the mill                
      - Speed of the separator                
      - Air to separator                  
      - Position of the different flaps, dampers            
                           
      The final report:                  
      - Preliminary pages (abstract, table of contents, glossary)        
      - Main report with explanation of the optimization work and its steps      
      - Conclusions                  
      - Annexes with figures and sheets              
                           
      Time required:                  
      It is impossible to know in advance the number of days of an optimization.    
      It depends of a lot of factors.              
      But 2 weeks seems to be a good average for that work.        
      Maybe, various stages will also be necessary.
